PMI Project in Brazil: Colloquium
Colloquium is a culture-engaging ministry that envisions the proclamation of the Gospel in a way that shows that Christianity is not only true but also relevant to all areas of life. Established in 2002 in Goiania Brazil, Colloquium is located in a city that now numbers more than 70,000 university students and other thousands of highschoolers. Yet Colloquium is not a ministry that serves only the youth, as has been shown by the more than 2000 participants who have been part of its events. Colloquium's motto is "by God's grace and for God's glory renewing minds, transforming lives and impacting culture," a goal that has been pursued solely to see our culture being transformed to serve the living God. Through many different activities varying from movie discussions to lectures with a Café style set up, Colloquium has been used by God to bring people to Christ, to lead others back to their churches and to strength the faith and Christian knowledge of those who long to be prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks them for a reason for the hope that abides in them.
